Horsemanship is defined as the skill in, or art of, riding, managing or training horses. Already 35 years into my lifetime journey with horses, I have dedicated myself to seeking harmonious horsemanship without the use of force or punishment. Just as we seek to build relationships with others based on kindness, trust and looking at life from another's point of view, a rewarding partnership with your horse should also be rooted in those same foundations. In addition, horses, like people, are individuals with distinct personalities and preferences. Whether teaching a horse or
teaching a student, it is vital to maintain creativity and positive reinforcement while tailoring the session to the individual and their learning style.
I am available to assist you in teaching your horse or coaching you in lessons. You are welcome to bring your horse to me or I do travel in a limited area. In lessons, you may ride your own horse or one of mine. Clinics are also offered and cover horsemanship from the ground, saddle and bitless riding.
